Training & Finishing School

CCCL with the assistance of SSM Group of Educational Institutions offers training in the relevant areas. It offers training in Tailoring & Weaving with more than 50 automatic machines to train tailors and helpers in various skills & Rapier Technology looms to train the weavers.

It has also set up a finishing school for new recruits to become conversant in the following disciplines:

• Product Development- (Methodology to be followed with respect to prototyping, strike off and PPS) Merchandising- (Includes Standard Operating Procedures, Business Communications, formats etc).
  Quality Management - (Product specific default standards followed in various countries and QA and QC procedures to be followed)
• Export Management- (Includes exposure to client specific formats used in shipping, Logistics and protocols involved such as Quarantine and Packaging declarations)
• Supply Chain Management- (Includes VMI, CPFR, ECR, Etc)
• Plant Management- (Plant safety, house keeping, emergency and security procedures)
  Environmental Management- (Managing the entire system with ability to monitor and audit systems on an on-going basis)
• Warehouse Management- ( incoming and outgoing systems, store, sort and pick methods, etc) & Packaging -( exposures to various Packaging style guides followed,packaging qualities and standards, implication of packaging standards, client specific requirements and standards followed in various countries)
• Soft Skills- (social etiquette, business and social cultures followed in various countries, communication and gestures, hygiene and cleanliness standards, personality development and conversational skills)
